1. Building Speech-to-Text Application — TalkFlowApp
Building TalkFlowApp…

Hey friends,
I love to write articles.
For a couple of days, I was wondering to build an application using which I can directly write articles from voice.
I was researching whether this kind of application is available in the market or not. I came to Google Docs. Google Docs supports speech-to-text functionality.
Why build a web app?
- I wanna try out this opportunity to practice building in public. #buildinpublic
- This exercise will add one more project to my portfolio.
- Documenting my journey to build an application will help other developers like me who want to build in public. I would be a helpful resource to them.
Rules for building the app:
Since I have a full-time job, I can only work on weekends or late nights. So here is some rule which I will follow
- Work for only 90 mins every weekday on the project
- Work for 6 hours per weekend on the project.
- Document your journey of building the application along the way.
- Code would be open source
What to build?
I am going to build a web app and a mobile app for it.
That’s it.
In one line — I would say that I am going to build speech to text application using that, users can write in the notion app using their voice.
That’s all for the first post.
I will keep you posted on the upcoming journey.
